The Australia Dental Association?!?!?!?!..confusion...
There's nothing to stop any dentist, Australian or otherwise, from doing this sort of treatment. However, treatment is a 2-way street. Not only must you desire to have the treatment performed, but the dentist must also be agreeable. And here you can have a difficulty, because we are meant to treat people without causing unnecessary harm. ALL treatment entails some degree of RISK.

For most treatment, there are very good reasons for doing it - broken teeth, toothaches, infections,... and so the risks are far outweighed by the advantages.

Cosmetic dentistry sometimes falls into a greyer area. Veneers, crowns, etc that make your teeth look better or closer to good health AS COMPARED TO THE MAJORITY can be justified if the person understands the risks. However, your suggestion heads away from this norm, and might make some dentists uncomfortable. It is not unknown for some patients with unusual requests to be unsatisfied at a later date if risks become real, and legal action can ensue. I've seen case studies of these happening.

So if this is what you want, then you will have to keep looking for a dentist that will agree. Most of us might see YOU as a risk - sorry!
Reply:Dunno, why don't you try looking at their internet site and see if you can find the answer to your question. http://www.ada.org.au/
