I am going under to be put to sleep for dental work, and I read on a website that they recommend for slightly longer procedures that you wear depends incontinence briefs. I was wondering if anyone ever heard of this or is this makes sense. Do people lose bladder control when they go under or since they can't wake up to go to the bathroom. I guess i dont wanna wear a diaper but it would be worse to wet my pants in his chair.
Wearing a diaper for dental work?
if you are going under general, then they will but a cath in you
Reply:Well.. if they are putting you under general and don't have the means to put a cath it..then yes wear the dang diapers. Call the office and ask them their procedures.
Reply:so your being put to sleep huh.? usually people are only put to sleep to get the widsom tooth out.. but as I recall.. I dont think your gonna be asleep that long... your probably told not to eat or drink anything 8 hours prior to procedure, my guess is dont bother with the diaper bag, you will be just fine
