Dental Question?

I am having 8 teeth removed on Monday and having an upper denteure put in. There is a note to the surgeon from my dentist that reads," Please remove some anterior buccal plate of bone to reduce class II relationship." Can someone tell me what this means. I have dental phobia sooooooo bad. My doctor gave me (2) 2mg xanax and told me to take one 30 minutes prior to the procedure and if I was still nervous when I got there to take the other one. I have never taken these pills before, will they calm me down? I'm just having novacaine. Please help.....I was so scared before but now that I've seen this note, I'm really in a panic.

Dental Question?
They are going to reduce your bone in the upper front toward your lip so that your denture and your bite can be better. Don't worry it will all be worth at the end.
Reply:I'm sorry, I don't know what that note means but I do know that xanax will definitely help calm you down, even make you a little sleepy. Why not call and ask your dentist what that means, you have the right to know. Good luck!
