parkkinsons disease has paralyzed my soft pallet and made my speech 98% non understandable . with all my sounds being very nasally. ive heard of a dental plate that covers the pallet andseals off the air ,inturn coorrecting the nasally sound

Yes, you are right. There are devices that you put at the back of your mouth to keep sounds from being nasally. Check with your dentist, or you might have to go to a specialist. Also try speech therapy because you will need help to train yourself to talk right. They could be very helpful, and may even have support groups that you could go too.
