It depends on your state Medicaid guidelines. Each state is different. Usually they will cover preventative (cleaning, exam, x-rays), but will only cover selected restorative (fillings) and crown and bridge work.

yes but it has to be approved before you can get the dental treatment otherwise you may have to pay for it out of pocket .

Exams, cleanings, xrays, extractions and fillings are covered without question. Crowns, dentures and root canals need to be pre-authorized prior to treatment, as these procedures aren't always covered.
Unless you have Medicaid with a 'spend-down', there won't be any out-of-pocket costs to you.
